Cops arrest 63 Chinese, 13 Filipinos for illegal POGO operation in Makati

63 Chinese nationals and 13 Filipinos have been arrested in Makati City for illegal operation of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO).

According to the police, they have received a report from an individual on the online gambling operating in a residential building in Obrero Street. They have confiscated a laptop, computer monitors, keyboard, mouse, over 50 internet modems, Chinese passport, I.D.s, bank checks, and cash worth more than PhP 100, 000 on their operation Tuesday.

The arrested individuals are currently detained at the Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig. – Report from Mica Joson
