Cops donate medals for daycare center kids in Davao del Sur

Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Police Gen. Guillermo Eleazar commended police personnel of Santa Cruz, Davao del Sur who showed their appreciation for the hard work of day care pupils by donating medals for their graduation.

Eleazar said policemen of the Revitalized Pulis sa Barangay (R-PSB) in Barangay Saliducon turned over 25 medals to teacher Mayra Umaya Lopez of the Saliducon Daycare Center so she could give them to the kids on their graduation.

In donating the medals, the police personnel wanted to instill in the children the benefits of hard work and dedication. Teachers and parents expressed gratitude for the cops’ gesture.

Eleazar lauded the personnel of R-PSB Team Saliducon for the simple gesture which could inspire and develop in students a love for learning.

Eleazar said this act would also convey to the youth that PNP personnel can be trusted to look after their welfare and are true to their mandate to protect and serve. (PNP-PIO) – jlo
