Dacera case prelim probe reset to Jan. 27

The Philippine National Police (PNP) has sought more time for the submission of evidence in the case of flight attendant Christine Dacera.

The PNP on Wednesday asked to have the hearing reset to further strengthen the evidence that will be submitted to the prosecutor.

PLtCol. Jenny Tecson of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said the police are still waiting for the results of the medical procedures conducted on the body of Dacera, including a toxicology test and DNA analysis.

Three respondents of the case were previously released prior to the conduct of a full-blown preliminary investigation due to insufficiency of evidence.

Meanwhile, the PNP is eyeing the inclusion of more respondents in the case from the initial 11 individuals. The hearing is scheduled on January 27. – Report from Bea Bernardo
