DOH lauds SC’s position on nurses’ compensation

The Department of Health (DOH) acclaims the action of the Supreme Court (SC) to set the public nurses’ minimum pay to salary grade (SG) 15, equivalent to PHP30,531 per month. The High Court affirmed the petition by Ang Nars Partylist that questioned the validity of Executive Order No. 811 which sets the nurses’ remuneration from SG-15 to SG-11. The health department says that the decision manifests the SC’s recognition of the importance of said medical professionals.
