Justice Sec. Menardo Guevarra stated that whoever is appointed as Officer- in-Charge of the Bureau of Corrections must be competent enough to handle the crisis surrounding the agency. Formal investigation by the Department of Justice on the alleged corruption and irregularities in the computation of the Good Conduct Time Allowance shall ensue after the Senate investigation concludes.
