DOTr eyes partial operation of public transportation

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) is considering the partial operation of several public transportation.

DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade says these include public utility buses and trains in particular areas. However, the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) must first approve the recommendation.

Sec. Tugade also reiterates that social distancing must be implemented in public transportation.
