DPWH resumes road rehabilitation works in EDSA, C5

Road rehabilitation works of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will resume starting 11 p.m. Friday, September 20, 2019 until 5 a.m. Monday, September 23, 2019 covering some road sections in the National Capital Region (NCR).

DPWH-NCR will conduct repair activities at Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA), southbound directions from Bansalangin to North Avenue (U-Turn Slot), 5th lane from sidewalk; and at the northbound direction after P. Tuazon underpass, 1st lane from center island.

Reblocking works will also be done at the southbound directions of Circumferential Road 5 (C5) near Market Market; and at the northbound direction of Katipunan Avenue/C5 after C.P. Garcia Street, truck lane.

In Quezon City, road reblocking works will also be undertaken at the northbound directions of G. Araneta Avenue from T. Arguelles to Bayani; at the eastbound directions of Quirino Highway, from Salvia Street to before Belfast Road, outer lane; and Elliptical Road, after Maharlika Street, 8th lane from outer sidewalk; at the westbound direction of General Luis Street, from Samote Street to SB Diversion Road; and at the northbound direction of A. Bonifacio Avenue

from J. Pineda to Marvex Drive, 1st lane from center island.

Other roads that will undergo reblocking activity include the southbound direction of Taguig City, fronting Palar Village.

Motorists are advised to take possible alternate routes due to expected traffic build-up on affected areas.
