MAGSAYSAY, Davao del Sur – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has allocated PHP7,074,000 for 3,259 beneficiaries of the Regular Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT), Cash Card and the Modified Conditional Cash Transfer (MCCT) in the municipality.
Through its Municipal Link, in coordination with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, DSWD has set its Over-The-Counter Payout on July 25-27, 2018 at the Municipal Gymnasium here.
DSWD scheduled the payout on July 18-20, 2018 but was reset due to unavoidable circumstances, said MSWDO Rhesty Camasura, who added that the agency’s conduit for the payout will be the Rural Bank of Digos Incorporated.
The CCT, more known as the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, and MCCT are aimed at bringing back the children to schools and facilitate their regular attendance, including access to Alternative Delivery Mode and other special learning modes; facilitate availment of health and nutrition services through regular visits to the health centers;
Enhancing of parenting roles through attendance to Family Development Sessions (FDS); bringing back of children from the streets to more suitable, decent and permanent homes and reunite with their families; and to assist families with children in need of special care and protection.
The Municipal Disaster Risk-Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) said it will establish an Incident Command System (ICS) composed of MDRRMO responders, Magsaysay Municipal Police Station, Magsaysay Fire Station and Municipal Health Station, to look after the safety and health of the beneficiaries during the payout dates.
