DSWD urges public to report corruption in SAP distribution

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has urged the public to report corruption in the distribution of funds of the Social Amelioration Program (SAP).

DSWD Undersecretary Camilo Gudmalin said that anomalies may be reported through the agency’s hotline number 6545. He ensured that they will immediately respond to the complaints.

The DSWD also asked the Local Government Units (LGUs) to give a list of families who are not covered by the SAP but must be given financial aid under the Bayanihan to Heal as One Act. – PTV News
