Former UST basketball star Ed Cordero applies as UST head coach

Former University of Santo Tomas (UST) basketball star Ed Cordero has confirmed that he has applied as the head coach of the Growling Tigers for the upcoming University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) season.

According to Cordero, if he is accepted as head coach, he will immediately gather the remaining players who have decided to stay on the team.

The 4 key players of the Growling Tigers CJ Cansino, Rhenz Abando, Ira Bataller, and Brent Paraiso have left UST and transferred to another school after a training bubble was conducted by former head coach Aldin Ayo in Sorsogon amidst the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
