P1.6M worth of Ecstasy seized in Port of Clark

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has seized around P1.6 million worth of the party drug Ecstasy in the Port of Clark.

According to the BOC, the shipment was declared as air humidifier from Milton Keynes, United Kingdom. Upon closer inspection, the shipment turned out to be over 900 tablets of the illegal drug.

The Bureau has issued a warrant of seizure and detention for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act and Customs Modernization, and Tariff Act against the person behind the shipment.

The confiscated illegal drug has been turned over to the Philippine Drug and Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
