Galvez: Gov’t national action plan vs COVID-19 on track

Presidential Peace Adviser and National Task Force Against COVID-19 Chief Implementer Carlito Galvez Jr. in his day-end presser said the implementation of government’s national action plan to quell the spread of COVID-19 is on track.

Galvez said the Department of Health (DOH) has already conducted more than 16,000 COVID-19 tests in the Philippines.

He also shared they have a scheduled virtual meeting with various hospital directors to further address the needs in the country’s healthcare facilities and medical frontliners.

Meanwhile, UP Executive Vice President Dr. Teodoro Herbosa reiterated the importance of using face masks when going outside, and explained the effectiveness of wearing face masks in other countries.
