Globe Data Centers boast of three ISO certifications for information and data security

Globe strives to provide excellent service to its customers, and has earned three International Standards Organization (ISO) accreditations for its Data Centers, which provide clients with the best experience through management system implementation and in-place security controls.

Accreditations include ISO 9001 for Quality Management System, ISO 27001 for Information Security Management System, and ISO 20000-1 for IT Service Management System.

Globe Data Centers help ease the worries of businesses in day-to-day operations by offering leased managed spaces in a clean, controlled, and secure environment for servers and IT equipment that run mission-critical systems.

These international IT standard certifications are awarded to companies that demonstrate excellence and embody best practices in IT management. This assures Globe’s customers that the company delivers consistent and effective business processes in providing and hosting its ICT services.

“Globe recognizes the importance of information and data security for its customers and partners. Through the implementation of various effective management systems, we can assure our customers that our operations are aligned and compliant with best practices to manage the risks associated with data management,” said Anton Bonifacio, Globe Chief Information Security Officer.

ISO 9001 serves as the foundation of Globe Data Centers’ process excellence. Being certified for this ensures that the products and services of Globe are managed efficiently and meet the needs and expectations of the customer regularly.

The company’s flagship Data Center has also been distinguished with certifications on ISO 20000-1 for Information Technology Service Management System and ISO 27001 for Information Security Management System.

Aside from ISO standards, Globe also received certifications on the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) which ensures that companies maintain a secure environment for any transactions that involve transmitting credit card information.

Globe has also received enterprise-wide certifications under the Integrated Management System (IMS), including ISO 22301 for Business Continuity Management System, ISO 14001 for Environmental Management System, and ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety.

All these efforts form part of the telco’s strengthened approach in managing sensitive enterprise information for a fully digital and fully secure enterprise community in the country. The company strongly supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly UN SDG No. 9 which highlights the roles of infrastructure and innovation as crucial drivers of economic growth and development. Globe is committed to upholding the 10 United Nations Global Compact principles and 10 UN SDGs.
