Half day work for govt offices on October 31

Malacanang has declared half day work in government on Thursday, October 31.

Per Executive Order No. 69, work in government offices tomorrow will be until 12 noon. The move is to give time to the government workforce to prepare for the Nov. 1 All Saints’ Day and the Nov 2 All Souls’ Day.

Agencies involved in the delivery of vital and basic and health services are not included in the half-day suspension of work. They are to continue with their operations and render the necessary services.

The Palace gives the private sector employers / management the discretion for their employees.
