Immigration includes Peter Lim on derogatory list

MANILA — The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has included Cebu-based businessman Peter Lim on its derogatory list on Friday.

According to BI spokesperson Dana Sandoval, they immediately included Lim’s name after they received the copy of a Makati Regional Trial Court’s hold departure against the businessman last Friday.

“Encoded na (his name). Yesterday late afternoon,” she said.

Lim was charged for violating Section 26 (B) in relation to Section 5, Article II (conspiracy to commit illegal drug trading) of Republic Act No. 9165.

His co-accused were Kerwin Espinosa, Marcelo Adorco, and Ruel Malindagan.

The court has already issued a warrant for their arrest. (Ferdinand Patinio/PNA)
