
MANILA — Isolated rains will continue to prevail over most parts of the archipelago, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Sunday morning.
The northeast monsoon affecting extreme northern Luzon will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains over Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands.
The rest of the country are being affected by the easterlies. This will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Mindanao, eastern Visayas, central Visayas and Palawan.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, moderate to occasionally strong winds will prevail over northern Luzon, and its coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate withe slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
