The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) has ordered Meralco to refund billions-worth of collections from its customers since 2017. The ERC said that based on the data submitted by the power distributor, the company must refund around ₱1.4 billion from the collected generation rate from January 17 to December 2019.
