Nearly 1.8-M jabs administered in one week nationwide

A record high 1,778,989 COVID-19 vaccine doses were administered on the 18th week of the country’s national vaccination program, according to the Department of Health (DOH).

As of July 4, the Health department recorded a total of 11,708,029 doses administered to priority groups A1, A2, A3, and A4.

Of which, 8,839,124 have received at least the first dose of vaccine, while 2,868,905 have already completed the required two doses. 

Meanwhile, a ceremonial vaccination for the economic frontliners in the Central Luzon will be held on Tuesday (July 6) in Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga. – rir
