NEDA exec: Concrete economic strategy needed from next administration

By Katrina Gracia Consebido

National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Undersecretary Rosemarie Edillon said Wednesday, May 12, that the next administration should lay out a specific economic plan for the country.

In the Laging Handa press briefing, Edillon said they already formed a transition plan for the successor of the Duterte administration, covering the acceleration of economic recovery, rebuilding resiliency, and promoting  innovation for future challenges.

“So, by and large, mayroon na rin pong nakalatag.

Meanwhile, the NEDA official said the key to boost and fully open the economy is the vaccination of the country’s population and the administration of booster shots for the eligible population. –ag
