Number of enrollees not enough to hit DepEd’s target

In the latest data of the Department of Education (DepEd), around 15,182,075 students have already enrolled with 14.5 million enrolled in public schools and 621,985 in private schools.

The number of enrollees falls short of the education department’s target of 28 million by the end of June. The DepEd is yet to release an advisory regarding the extension of enrollment. – PTV News
