OWWA urges OFWs to register with BOQ website

The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) urged overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) to register with the website of the Bureau of Quarantine for the processing of their swab test result.

OWWA Administrator Hans Cacdac pointed out that it covers OFWs who have arrived in the country since October 15. The website can be accessed through quarantinecertificate.com and a confirmation will be sent by text or e-mail for the test result.

The OWWA also disclosed that the swab test for returning OFWs will still be compensated by the government while the issue between Philippine Red Cross (PRC) and PhilHealth is being resolved. – Report from Louisa Erispe
