P4.5M worth of illegal drugs seized in Pasay

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has seized P4.5 million worth of illegal drugs in an unclaimed parcel in a warehouse in Pasay City.

According to the agency, more than 600 grams of shabu came from Las Vegas, Nevada in the US. The shipment was supposed to be delivered to a resident in Hagonoy, Bulacan.

The profiling and case build-up is currently being rolled out against those who are involved. They may face charges of violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act and Customs Modernization and Tariff Act.

The illegal drugs have been turned over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
