P88.4M worth of shabu seized in Bacoor, Cavite

The Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group (PNP-DEG) seized 13 kilograms of shabu worth P88.4 million in 2 separate operations at Bacoor, Cavite.

5 kg of shabu worth P34M was initially confiscated around 9:00 AM Sunday along with the buy-bust money from Bino Sampaco and Javier Mala in front of a fast food chain along Molino Road. The two suspects were identified as barangay frontliners in Dasmariñas.

8kg of shabu worth P54.4M have been recovered at past 9:00 AM from Mira-Ato Macarampat. The contraband was found in his home in a subdivision in Barangay Mambog 3. Several evidences such as buy-bust money, plastic wrappers for repacking shabu, and cellphones used for illegal transactions were also taken from the suspect.

The 3 suspects will face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
