Palace to rebels: Do not to worsen plight of Filipinos

Malacañang urged terrorists on Thursday to stop making things worse for the Filipino people who have been facing challenges amid the current pandemic.

“Sana makiisa na lang sila sa gobyerno. Ang gobyerno naman ay mapagpatawad. Kinakailangang mag-surrender at binibigyan kayo ng hanapbuhay pati nga yata pabahay (We hope that they cooperate with the government. The government is forgiving. There is the need to surrender and you will be given livelihood and maybe housing),” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque advised.

Roque said the practice of killing fellow-countrymen must end since it will end up to no good.

“Hindi krimen ang maging komunista. Ang krimen ay ang paggamit ng dahas laban sa kapwa Pilipino (Being a communist is not a crime. The crime is using violence against fellow Filipinos),” he added. – PTV News Online
