Palace urges Gordon to release info on POGO being used to get intelligence info

Malacañang has urged Sen. Richard Gordon to release enough information on his statement that China might be using Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO) to gain intelligence information in the country.

Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo says the issue and other matters concerning Chinese nationals in the country are already under investigation and that any proven violation shall be punished.

“Any crime committed in this country will be investigated, and the perpetrators thereof will be prosecuted… Anything that goes against the interest of the country is a cause of concern by this government, and for that matter, any government,” Panelo points out. – Report from Mela Lesmoras
