Panelo: President Duterte outraged by PMA hazing death

Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo relayed that Pres. Rodrigo Duterte does not tolerate hazing and is upset after learning that PMA cadet Darwin Dormitorio died that way on September 18. Panelo suggested to make hazing a heinous crime. The Palace assured Dormitorio’s loved ones that the perpetrators will be persecuted. The Department of Justice has directed the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to investigate the case.
