Pasay City Mayor tests positive for COVID-19


Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano confirmed that she has tested positive for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

According to Mayor Rubiano, she had herself tested after learning that one of their employees tested positive for the virus. She immediately self-isolated and ordered contact tracing to avoid the further spread of the disease.

Rubiano assured that the Pasay government will continue to serve the public. She tasked all departments, officials, and personnel of city hall not to abandon their posts and continue the program of the city. – PTV News
