In the face of omnipresent challenges that have tested the core of his leadership and the integrity of his Cabinet, the administration continues to march forward as it brings about meaningful and inclusive progress to its constituents.
This, as President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s leadership, which earned a 42% net satisfaction rating in June 2026, according to the results of a survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations (SWS).
Among the key initiatives that were warmly received by the citizenry were as follows:
- Providing the youth with basic education in public elementary and high schools (+68)
- Improving the quality of children’s education (+58)
- Helping the poor (+52)
- Creating policies that will generate job opportunities (+51)
- Developing science and technology (+49)
- Implementing housing programs for the poor (+48)
- Ensuring food security (+41)
- Defending Philippine sovereignty in the West Philippine Sea (+35)
- Ensuring an efficient public transportation system (+33)
- Ensuring that no family will ever be hungry and have nothing to eat (+26)
These figures show a significant improvement compared to March 2026, with these 10 subjects reflecting a public satisfaction that ranges from good to very good—an important indicator of the progress that has been made halfway through President Marcos Jr.’s term.
Breaking down these numbers by area shows that this satisfaction rating was highest in Balance Luzon (moderate; +13), followed by the Visayas (neutral; +5), Metro Manila (poor; -11), and Mindanao (poor; -17).
Moreover, this positive development is reflected in the improvement of the net satisfaction rating that echoes across age cohorts and educational levels, thus highlighting the inclusivity of the administration’s programs and reforms geared towards uplifting the lives of Filipinos.
The non-commissioned survey was conducted between June 20-29, 2026 through face-to-face interviews of 1,200 adults (300 each from Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao) with a ±3% sampling error margin.
