President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. commended during a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 20, the different government departments for their achievements in the recent months.

“I think we have managed that and I’m very happy that we were able to do it,” Marcos said.

“I am told I am to make a toast. I will toast you all for the good work that you have done, the good [start] that you have done, as I said earlier I think you have done some significant things,” he added.

Marcos also asked Cabinet members to take advantage of the holiday season to take a rest and prepare for public service.

“So with that, I suppose all that is left is to toast you and toast to all a Merry, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” he continued.

During the Cabinet meeting, the President and other officials discussed all the accomplishments this year and the key priorities for 2023. -ag
