President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Thursday reiterated his administration’s commitment to provide every Filipino family with a safe, decent, and affordable home under the “Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Housing” (4PH) Program.

Walang maiiwanan sa Bagong Pilipinas,” Marcos said during the opening of the National Housing Expo 2025 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

The President also touted ongoing efforts of the government and the private sector to expand housing programs, streamline housing services, and build climate-resilient homes under the Green Lane Program.

He also lauded the Home Development Mutual Fund or Pag-IBIG Fund as one of the government’s most reliable partners in the housing sector, noting that about P75 billion in cash loans had been released to around 3 million members, providing much-needed financial relief.

With the expansion of the 4PH Program, low-income earners who are members of the Pag-IBIG Fund can avail of housing loans with interest rates as low as 3% per annum, while overseas Filipino workers may also benefit from low interest rates.

Beneficiaries and graduates of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) are also eligible under the Expanded 4PH Program.

“Ngayong araw, muli nating pinagtitibay ang ating pangarap: na ang bawat pamilyang Pilipino ay magkaroon ng ligtas, maayos, at sariling tahanan,” the President said.

The Chief Executive also led the ceremonial awarding of certificates of entitlements (COEs) and titles to beneficiaries of government housing programs and those covered by Presidential Proclamations—granting them ownership of the lands they have long occupied.

Thousands of brand-new homes, acquired assets up for grabs

Organized by Pag-IBIG Fund, the National Housing Expo 2025 is part of the celebration of the National Shelter Month every October.

According to Pag-IBIG Fund chief executive officer (CEO) Marilene Acosta, over 100,000 new houses from 50 participating developers were put on sale through the Pag-IBIG Fund Housing Loan, while over 30,000 Pag-IBIG acquired assets were offered at discounts of up to 40%.

The agency also launched the Housing Loan Value Card, which allows members to access their financial status and explore housing options within their budget, as well as the Loyalty Card Plus, which functions as a membership, rewards, and cash card.
