PCSO turns over P67-M to various government agencies

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) turned over P67 million to various government agencies on Tuesday, Dec. 28.


Among the agencies that receive shares of the PCSO’s mandatory contributions were the Philippine National Police (PNP), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), and the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC).

The PCSO charity share is a form of financial support to fund the medical and health programs of government agencies.

Meanwhile, the PCSO also provided P43 million to 15 local government units that were severely affected by Typhoon Odette. (PTV News)/PG – bny
