PH ranks 79th in COVID-19 response global ranking

The Philippines’ response to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) ranks 79th in the global ranking released by an Australian think-tank based on the COVID performance index of Lowy Institute.

According to the group’s study of 98 countries, the Philippines has an average score of 30.6 following Spain with a score of 31.2. The top performer is New Zealand with a score of 94.4 and Vietnam with 90.8.

The scores were based on the result of the COVID-19 management response of each country such as the number of confirmed cases and casualties. – PTV News
