Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Police General Camilo Cascolan has assured that no special treatment will be accorded to police officers involved in crime and illegal activities.
In a press briefing Monday, PNP Chief Cascolan boldly stated that cops involved in criminal activities must be imprisoned in a regular jail. As a matter of fact, the treatment for them must be stricter.
PGen. Cascolan declared that undisciplined police officers have no place in the organization.
He also underscored the need to increase the level of quality of police personnel in the country. Cops must know how to handle a gun especially in police operations. Even police investigators must be skilled. This way, PGen.Cascolan believes his priority to regain the trust of the public in the PNP shall be achieved.
