PNP starts investigation on second batch of narco-cops

The Philippine National Police (PNP) will start its investigation on the second batch of “narco” cops or police officers involved in illegal drugs.

According to Deputy Chief for Administration Lieutenant General Camilo Cascolan, the second batch consists of 352 police officers, 83 of whom are under the National Watchlist on Illegal Drugs while the remaining 269 are under the Counter Intel watchlist.

Lt. Gen. Cascolan adds that the result of the investigation on the first batch has been submitted to the Office of PNP Chief General Archie Gamboa.

The National Adjudication Board of the PNP will take action on the officers listed if proven guilty. – PTV News
