Pres. Duterte says EJK not tolerated, seeks immediate destruction of seized drugs

President Rodrigo Duterte strongly asserted on Monday night that he has not killed anyone amid persistent issues hurled against him and the current administration.

“My job is to see to it that the rule of law, the rules for or against a person, are followed. At maraming sinasabi ‘rule of law,’ hindi ka naman sumusunod, marami kang pinapatay. Wala ho akong pinatay na tao (Many are saying that I am not following the ‘rule of law’ and killed many. I did not kill any human being),” President Duterte stated.

Malacañang has consistently denied the allegations of extrajudicial killings in the course of the war against illegal drugs of the current administration.

Meanwhile, President Duterte stated a new directive to strengthen anti-illegal drugs campaign, including the immediate destruction of seized illegal drugs to prevent drug recycling.

“Why do we have to put on our shoulder the burden of keeping a contraband or merchandise that can be stolen and used, and recycled?” he questioned.

“So I want all the shabu residual or otherwise, however minimal, destroy the whole of it by next week. You have so many days to do it. One week. Do it in one week. Destroy and get specimen,” he ordered.
