Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque on Metro Manila, Davao City to remain GCQ starting February 1

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte on Friday, January 29, 2021 retained the General Community Quarantine (GCQ) classification of the National Capital Region (NCR) and Davao City.

Also under GCQ are Batangas and Cordillera Administrative Region which includes Abra, Apayao, Benguet, Baguio City, Ifugao, Kalinga, and Mountain Province for Luzon; Tacloban City for the Visayas; Davao del Norte, Lanao del Sur and Iligan City for Mindanao.

Santiago City, Ormoc City, and all other areas are placed under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ).

The abovementioned risk-level classifications will take effect starting Monday, February 1 until February 28, 2021.
