PRRD, Amb. Huang join forces to toughen COVID-19 fight

President Rodrigo Duterte and Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian have agreed to strengthen the fight against coronavirus disease (COVID-19) during the latter’s courtesy call at Malacañang.

The President and the ambassador have tackled measures in countering the virus. China has also expressed readiness to lend assistance to the Philippines.

Meanwhile, the officials have discussed the incoming 45th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between China and Philippines in June. The chief executive said he is confident the ties of the two countries will grow, especially on the trade aspect. – Report from Mela Lesmoras
