PRRD, itinatag ang NACCC laban sa kurapsyon sa gobyerno

Itinatag ngayon ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa pamamagitan ng Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) ang National Anti-Corruption Coordinating Council (NACCC) na pipigil sa kurapsyon sa lahat ng ahensya ng pamahalaan.

Ang 49 na mga ahensya mula sa tanggapan ng Punong Ehekutibo ay sabayang lumagda at nanumpa ngayong Biyernes, Setyembre 3, upang selyuhan ang ipinangako ng Pangulong Duterte na wakasan ang katiwalian hanggang sa huling araw ng kanyang termino.

Ang NACCC ay binubuo ng: Department of Agriculture (DA); Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR); Department of Budget and Management (DBM); Department of Education (DepEd); Department of Energy (DOE); Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR); Department of Finance (DOF); Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA); Department of Health (DOH); Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSURD);

Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT); Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG); Department of Justice (DOJ); Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE); Department of National Defense (DND); Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH); Department of Science and Technology (DOST); Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD); Department of Tourism (DOT); Department of Trade and Industry (DTI);

Ayon kay PACC Chairperson Greco Belgica, ito ay pagsasanib-pwersa ng lahat ng tanggapan ng gobyerno, hindi lamang para imbestigahan ang mga reklamo ng korapsyon kundi para mapigilan na ang mismong ugat ng katiwalian. Sapagkat sa pamamagitan ng pagkakatatag ng NACCC ay magkakaroon ng mas maagap na pagbabantay at pagkakalap ng mga impormasyon sa loob ng kani-kanilang mga ahensya.

At ang pinakamahalaga aniya sa whole-of-nation approach na ito ay ang pagiging God-centered anti-corruption program sapagkat kailangang mawala sa puso ng mga tao ang paggawa ng kasamaan lalo na ng katiwalian.

Mula sa pagbuo ng NACCC ay itatatag naman ang Anti-Corruption Committee (ACC) na kasamang magbabalangkas ng mga istratehiya, plano, at mga polisiya na tatapos sa kurapsyon hanggang sa barangay level.

“Ngayong araw ay sinelyuhan na po ng Pangulong Duterte ang kanyang ipinangako na labanan ang katiwalian, dahil ang NACCC ay isa ng institusyon na mananatili kahit tapos na ang panunungkulan ng kasalukuyang administrasyon,” pagtatapos ni Belgica. (PACC) – jlo
