PRRD to issue directive on prices of goods


President Rodrigo Duterte is set to issue an Executive Order establishing appropriate prices for pork, chicken, and other products in the National Capital Region (NCR).

According to Senator Christopher Go, the Office of the President (OP) is currently finalizing the directive. It was assured that the government is balancing the interest of consumers and business owners for the said measure.

Industry players were encouraged to go on running their businesses and were guaranteed that the government will continue providing them assistance.

Prices of vegetables and pork products have gone up recently due to the African Swine Fever (ASF) and the series of typhoons that devastated the country. – PTV News
