Rain showers seen in Metro Manila, Luzon due to ‘amihan’

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will get experienced rain showers Thursday due to the prevailing northeast monsoon or “amihan,” the weather bureau said.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said affected areas also include Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, and Aurora.

Localized thunderstorms are forecast in Palawan, the Visayas and Mindanao. (PNA)
