‘Semi-closed border’ sa Davao Region, aprubado na

Inaprubahan na ng Regional Inter-Agency Task Force (RIATF) on COVID-19 nitong Huwebes (Abril 29)  ang panukala ng City Government of Davao na isailalim sa “semi-closed border” ang Davao Region.

Ayon kay Alex Roldan, regional director ng Department of the Interior and Local Government XI, may inihahandang ilang mga dokumento upang maipatupad na ito.

“Naaprubahan na ng RIATF. Pero ang resolution, guidelines should be subjected sa comment ng local government units dahil sila naman ang magpapatupad,” pahayag ni Roldan.

Tiwala naman si City Health Office Officer-In-Charge Dr. Ashley Lopez na maipatutupad na ito sa susunod na linggo.

Dahil dito, ang lahat ng land travelers na papasok sa siyudad ay kailangang magpakita ng negative RT-PCR test result na ginawa sa nakalipas na 72 oras. 

Ang “test before travel” ay nauna nang ipinatupad sa mga air passengers na darating sa Davao City simula noong Marso 23. Ito ay para lang sa mga taga-Davao City na nagbakasyon o gumala sa ibang rehiyon na uuwi sa lungsod. Hindi nito saklaw ang mga essential workers.
