SWS: 77% of Filipinos say trip to the grocery store is risky

A Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey has revealed that 77% of Filipinos consider going to the grocery store or market as risky due to the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) threat.

In the survey conducted from September 17 to 20, 16% said that a trip to the market or grocery store is “a little risky,” 4% stated that it is not risky, while 2% admitted that they do not go to grocery stores or markets.

The SWS mobile phone survey has 1,249 respondents with ages 18 and above.
