Tablas, Basco flights cancelled due to bad weather

MANILA — Flights between Manila and Basco, and Manila and Tablas were cancelled as of Monday afternoon due to the inclement weather, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said.

These flights were Cebgo (DG) 6075/6076 Manila-Tablas-Manila, and Skyjet (M8) 818/819 Manila-Basco-Manila.

State weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said it is expecting tropical depression (TD) “Henry” to be in the vicinity of Babuyan Group of Islands on Monday evening.

As of 10 a.m. on Monday, “Henry” was eyed at 415 kilometers east of Calayan, Cagayan.

The TD has maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour near the center, and gustiness of up to 65 kph, heading west at 25 kph, according to PAGASA. (Ma. Cristina Arayata/PNA)
