Traditional jeepneys to operate starting July 3

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has released the guidelines on the resumption of operations of traditional jeepneys starting July 3.

Under Memorandum Circular 2020-026, the LTFRB has clarified that the traditional jeepneys must be “roadworthy,” and have a QR Code that can be acquired through the agency’s website before travelling.

6,002 units are allowed to ply 49 routes, namely:
