VP Sara hails biz owners, investors for supporting PH economy, educ sector

Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte graced as the key speaker on Wednesday, Oct. 19, the 48th Philippine Business Conference in Manila. 

In her speech with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, she recognized the vast contribution of private business owners and investors for the economic growth of the country, especially the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

She also recognized their help in the education sector through building classrooms, providing training and school materials, and holding various programs and advocacies to aid the learning and awareness of students and educators.

“These are in the form of classroom building construction, teacher training, school grants, student competitions and awards including robotics and ICT talent competitions, nutrition education, school supplies distribution, reading materials, school preparedness advocacy security, and mental health resources,” Duterte said. -ag
