DPWH to repair 11 roads in QC, Pasig & Caloocan this weekend

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will continue with road reblocking activities to improve surface quality and increase the efficiency of road transportation in Metro Manila.

Eleven (11) road sections located in Quezon City, Pasig City and Caloocan City will undergo replacement of damaged concrete pavement starting 11 P.M. Friday, September 15, 2017.

Motorists are advised to anticipate traffic slowdown or use alternate routes due to the reblocking and repair activities at the following roads in Quezon City: outer lane, southbound direction of A. Bonifacio Avenue between Mauban Street to Sgt. Rivera; second lane, southbound direction of Mindanao Avenue after Tandang Sora fronting Shell; second lane, southbound direction of EDSA corner Roosevelt; truck lane, southbound direction of E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue after Boni Serrano Avenue flyover; first lane from center island of E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue before and after Greenmeadows Avenue; second lane northbound direction of C.P. Garcia Avenue from University Avenue to E. Jacinto Street; northbound direction of V. Luna Road from East Avenue to Kalayaan Avenue; and third lane, northbound direction of Quirino Highway corner La Mesa Dam Road.

The southbound direction of C-5 Road near Lanuza Avenue and northbound direction of Manila East Road in front of SM East Ortigas will be cover by the road repair activities in Pasig City.

Also included in the weekend road repair is a part of the MacArthur Highway’s northbound direction near Monumento Circle in Caloocan City.
