DA assures sufficient supply of pork

The Department of Agriculture (DA), with the help of its new African swine fever (ASF) zoning approach, informed that the major part of the Philippines is ASF-free. Therefore, there is not a need for the public to fret about pork supply. Further, the agriculture arm said that there was no issue found after inspecting over 60 meat processing plants nationwide. The DA, however, warned meat traders of the illegality of selling ASF-infected meat.
