PhilSys pilot registration kicks off in Lower House

The pilot registration of the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys), in preparation for next year’s implementation of the national identification system, begins at the House of Representatives today, November 25, 2019. It aims to register over 4,000 individuals working in the Lower House such as the solons and staffers. Said registration is in alphabetical order and includes fingerprint and iris scanning. The next stop of the enrollment process is the Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of Finance, Bureau of the Treasury, and other government arms.
