18-M Filipinos to receive financial aid

Around 18 million Filipinos in Luzon will receive PhP 5,000 to PhP 8,000 while the Enhanced Community Quarantine is in effect.

Based on Republic Act 11469 or the “Bayanihan to Heal as One Act” that was signed by President Rodrigo Duterte, marginalized Filipinos are to receive PhP 5,000 to PhP 8,000 as financial aid for 2 months.

The Filipinos in the list of the conditional cash transfer program and those who receive free husked rice (bigas) are also being considered as recipients of financial aid.
