ASEAN Para Games cancelled anew due to COVID-19

The ASEAN Para Games slated to be held in the Philippines on May has been cancelled anew.

ASEAN Para Sports Federation President Major General Osoth Bhavilai has issued the statement after the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) decided to direct the fund for the event to fight Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

The ASEAN Para Games has been initially scheduled on January and moved to March but was delayed due to lack of funding.

The next ASEAN Para Games will be hosted by Vietnam in 2021. – PTV News
